Another twist in Boston United's seemingly never-ending tale of woe this season - they now face expulsion from the FA Cup.
The FA want assurances Boston can pay their footballing creditors and also want to see their accounts, which haven't been filed for two years.

The main story is on our homepage.

What do we make of this? Is it fair Boston should be thrown out or should the authorities show some leniency, especially after the Pilgrims have just been demoted to Blue Square North?

I am Lincoln fan but have a soft spot for Boston and have been to see them a number of times. However I think rules are rules and to let Boston into the FA cup would trhow the door open for other changes.
I hope Boston manage to get themselves sorted out soon because it is becoming a farce. A take over that is taking over many months and back pages of the papers. I hope the fans get together like Lincoln did back in those dark days and help the club at this difficult time. The fans don't deserve the treatment they are getting from the club. However it is the board to blame for missing out on the FA cup, not the FA.

I think the Boston fans have been dealt blow after blow of bad news and punishments and all because of the poor way the club has been managed in recent years. If the fans were given the option, I'm sure they would tell any new management team to run the club openly and honestly and start in the way they mean to go on. If they can't afford players, then don't bring them in, just do the best the can with the recourses they have. If that policy had been followed previously, maybe the fans, who are the lifeblood of the club, would not be suffering now.

It feels like the punishments are never ending like Getting Relagated at Wrexham was bad enough but Getting getting Demoted to Conferance North was a further kick in the Teeth . Add to this weve only 4 1st Team Players and 5 Youth Players. Now weve got the Possiabilty of being Chucked out of the FA Cup. I think weve got to all Unite and Show the Club in these in these Difficult Times

BOSTON TILL I DIE

IM BOSTON TILL I DIE

I KNOW I AM IM SURE I AM

IM BOSTON TILL I DIE !
